Elevated Corner Stand for OMK Design at PTE World Case Study

We worked with OMK Design, a UK manufacturer celebrating 60 years as specialists in public seating for airports, transport hubs and public spaces, to build their stand at PTE World 2026 (Passenger Terminal Expo & Conference). The show was held at held at ExCeL London, where PTE booked stand #D119 (an 8m x 6m corner stand, open on two sides).

The brief called for a stand that made the most of its corner position and gave OMK strong visibility from both aisles. As their London stand builder of choice, we built the stand around elevated, full-height walls topped by a suspended, double-sided rigged banner, giving the display a strong silhouette with clear branding.

Rather than squaring off the corner, we angled the storeroom wall diagonally across the back of the stand, creating a distinct visual moment for visitors walking past. Branded totem-style pylons marked each open corner, styled with airport terminal signage graphics (arrivals, departures and directional icons), directly echoing the transport environments OMK’s seating is designed for. At the centre of the stand, a raised partition styled as a departures board display became the stand’s focal point, splitting the space naturally into distinct zones, while keeping sightlines open across the floor.

Behind the departures board feature, we built a small standing meeting counter with stools, giving the OMK team a place for informal conversations. Throughout the rest of the stand, OMK’s own seating range (airport-style tandem seating, a wooden arched bench and lounge seating) was used as the primary display, doing double duty as both product showcase and genuinely usable seating for visitors and meetings!
