Indeed, exhibiting at a gift trade show can drive brand exposure and kickstart business growth.
In this article, we’ll explore giftware industry and UK trade shows, discovering why they can be so valuable and highlighting which ones you can target as a supplier.
Importance Of Gift Trade Shows UK
According to the UK Home and Gift Association, the value of the UK giftware industry stood at a whopping £9.3 billion in 2024. With the end of the pandemic and the continued rise of the British e-commerce sector, the industry is projected to continue its upward trajectory for years to come. Naturally, there’s no better way to capitalise on this growth than by attending some giftware industry trade events.

Besides exciting lead generation opportunities, gift trade shows allow associated independent stores and global manufacturers to connect and form business partnerships for the future. Indeed, networking in the gifts industry has never been easier with the help of some top industry trade events like the Spring Fair and the Harrogate Christmas & Gift Fair.
Finally, gift trade shows provide business owners an unbeatable opportunity to exhibit their newest gift items to a targeted audience; this setup allows for quality interactions where buyers can give instant feedback to suppliers. As any visitor can tell you, handling a new gift item in person is more efficient than judging it off a digital image!

There’s no better trade exhibition international gift companies can leverage if they want to access the Scottish market.
Who Exhibits What?
Visitor demographics vary by show and by region. Still, recent show reports indicate gift trade shows remain wildly popular with retail buyers and sellers, prominent industry leaders, suppliers, and other industry peers.
Some products that perform well at gift shows include home décor designs, luxury apparel, and tech gadgets. Certainly, this correlates with continuous changes to what consumers consider as “gifts”. Certainly, the chocolates, cards, and flowers of the past have since been supplanted by dynamic and personalised offerings.

No matter a visitor’s budget or occasion, there’s usually something for everyone at UK gift trade shows. As for suppliers, they’ll gain access to local and international customers that drive business and help owners reach their sales targets.
Exhibition Stands For Gift Trade Shows
Booth Exhibits™ partnered with longtime partner Keycraft to deliver a showstopping display at Spring Fair 2026.
Keycraft were overjoyed with their 9m x 6.5m peninsula display at Spring Fair 2025, but felt a bit more ambitious in 2026:
- They went for a narrower but longer setup, giving them more wall space to display toys from their two brands.
- As with the previous year’s display, their brands were to be separated by a storage area in the middle.
- They needed a space that was open, clean, and well-lit.

We’ll be the first to admit it: the new layout gave us a lot to think about. What were we going to do with the small storage area in the middle? We didn’t want it to stick out like a sore thumb.
The solution was simple: wrap it in graphic artwork so visitors wouldn’t even know! Their staff members were happy, and we felt it was hidden quite well.
